AHL announces suspension

January 17, 2007 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch forward Darcy Verot has been suspended for three (3) regular-season games as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. the Rochester Americans on Jan. 13.

Verot will miss Syracuse's games tonight (Jan. 17) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Friday (Jan. 19) vs. Albany and Saturday (Jan. 20) vs. Binghamton.
