NEW YORK - Chicago Rush WR/LB DEJUAN ALFONZO, San Jose SaberCats WR/LB BEN NELSON and Orlando Predators OL/DL GREG WHITE have been named Ironman, Offensive and ADT Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for the Divisional Round of the 2006 season.

IRONMAN: Alfonzo (6-0, 205, Indiana State), who is in his fourth AFL season, earns the honor for the second straight week. He recorded seven catches for 64 yards and two touchdowns and added 3.0 tackles and two fumble recoveries in Chicago's 63-46 Divisional Round win at Colorado on Sunday. Alfonzo has been on the field for every offensive and defensive snap following an injury to WR/DB ETU MOLDEN on the first play from scrimmage in the Rush's Wild Card win over Nashville on May 21.

OFFENSIVE: Nelson (6-3, 191, St. Cloud State), who was selected the 2006 Rookie of the Year last week, caught 12 passes and tied the AFL single-game postseason record with six touchdowns in San Jose's 62-48 Divisional Round win over Arizona on Saturday. He also hauled in 202 receiving yards, the third-highest single-game total in AFL playoff history. . ADT DEFENSIVE: White (6-3, 270, Minnesota), a rookie, recorded 3.5 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks for losses of 14 yards, in Orlando's 31-27 Divisional Round win over Philadelphia on Sunday. He was a key part of the Predator defense that held Philadelphia to its second-lowest point total of the season.

Ironman of the Week candidates included: Dallas' Jason Shelley, Orlando's Cory Fleming and San Jose's Barry Wagner.

Offensive Player of the Week candidates included: Chicago's Bobby Sippio, Dallas' Clint Dolezel, Orlando's Joe Hamilton and San Jose's Mark Grieb.

ADT Defensive Player of the Week candidates included: Chicago's Jeremy Unertl and Dennison Robinson, Dallas' Will Pettis, Orlando's Henry Taylor and San Jose's Omarr Smith.
