Aeros Playoff Tickets on Sale Monday, August 6th

Tickets for the upcoming Eastern League Playoffs will go on sale Monday morning, August 6th, at 9:00 AM at the Canal Park box office and online at www.akronaeros.com.

With 31 games to play in the regular season, the Aeros stand in first place in the EL Western Division, 9 1/2 games ahead of second-place Bowie. The top two teams in each of the league's two divisions qualify for post-season play. The Aeros have occupied first place in the Western Division since April 27th.

Ticket prices for home playoff games at Canal Park will be the same as the regular season. Box seats are $10 for adults and $9 for children 12 and under and seniors 60 and over. Bleacher tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Box seats are $6 for active and retired military personnel with valid ID. There is a $1 discount when tickets are purchased in advance of game day. Children under three are always free.

For the best-of-five Divisional Series, if the Aeros finish in first place in the division, the first two games of the series would be played on the road, and home games at Canal Park would be played on Friday, September 7th, Saturday, September 8th (if necessary), and Sunday, September 9th (if necessary). Post-game fireworks will follow the Aeros home playoff opener on Friday, September 7th. All three games, if played, will begin at 7:05 PM.

If the Aeros finish in second place in the division, the first two games would be played at Canal Park, with the final three games on the road. Home games at Canal Park would be played on Wednesday, September 5th and Thursday, September 6th. Post-game fireworks would then follow the Aeros home playoff opener on Wednesday, September 5th. Both games will begin at 7:05 PM.

Should the Aeros advance to the Eastern League Finals, the first two games of the best-of-five series will be played at Canal Park on Tuesday, September 11th and Wednesday, September 12th. Both games will begin at 7:05 PM. The final three games of the series will take place on the road.

Fans holding tickets to any divisional playoff game that is not played may exchange that ticket for a ticket to a Championship Series game or an Aeros home game in April or May 2013, subject to availability. Fans holding tickets for any Championship series game that is not played may exchange that ticket for an Aeros home game in April or May 2013, subject to availability. No monetary refunds will be made for playoff tickets.
