TONIGHT'S CONTEST...Akron and Norwich (San Francisco Giants) square-off in game two of their three-game series tonight...RHP FRANCISCO CRUCETA takes the mound for Akron this evening...Cruceta is making his sixth start of the year...In his most recent start, he received a no-decision on May 4 at Norwich (5.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R/ER, 3 BB, 5 SO)...He did a stint on the Disabled List in April, missing one start (sprained left ankle)...LHP MITCH WALK makes his seventh start for the ‘Gators...His last start was also on May 4 at Norwich, where he also received a no-decision (7.0 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO).

RECENTLY...Akron ended their three-game losing streak last night with an 8-1 victory over Norwich, pounding out 14 hits...3B LUIS GONZALEZ continued his torrid hitting, going 5-for-5 with 1 2B, 2 R & 1 RBI...DH RON WRIGHT was 2-for-3 with 1 2B & 2 RBI, while RF RYAN CHURCH was 1-for-4 with 3 RBI...Starter DERRICK VAN DUSEN picked up his second win of the year for the Aeros (6.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R/ER, 1 BB, 6 SO)...LHP KEVIN CORREIA suffered his second loss of the year for the ‘Gators.

WHERE'S THE HOME COOKING???...The Aeros are just 4-10 at home this season, but they are 14-6 on the road.
