
Adolfo ends Cats' streak with walkoff homer

Carlos Adolfo hit a game-winning home run in the 11th inning, giving the Cats a 4-3 win Friday night at LaGrave Field.
The victory ended the Cats' season-high four-game losing streak and evened their record at 13-13.
The Cats trailed 3-0 going to the fourth inning when Adam Miller's double scored David Keesee to make it 3-1. Adolfo's RBI single in the fifth inning brought the Cats to within one and they tied i t up when Kip Harkrider scored on a double play.
The game remained tied at three until the 11th when Adolfo smacked an 0-1 pitch over the left-field wall to end the game. It was his third home run of the season.
Matt Harrington (1-0) who pitched three shutout innings of relief earned the win. Mike Reeves, who surrendered Adolfo's homer, took the loss to drop to 0-1.
Cats' starter Kevin Hull got no decision after allowing three runs on five hits in 6 1/3 innings pitched.
Terence Green had four hits in the game for the Cats who wound up with 12 hits overall.
