Milwaukee Admirals News Release
MICHAEL LATTA... Admirals forward Michael Latta picked up three assists and was +4 in Sunday afternoon's win over the Checkers. That total established a new team high this season and it marked the first time in his Admirals career that he had totaled three helpers in one game and just the second time he had finish a game with three points. The first came in a two-goal one-assist performance in a 5-1 win over Peoria on December 2 of last season. The St. Clements' ON native leads the team with 11 assists and is tied for second on the club with 14 points.
As a rookie in 2011-12, Latta posted 13 goals and 14 assists for 27 points and finished second on the team with 100 penalty minutes.
CELEBRATING 35 YEARS... The Admirals recently unveiled a new portion of their website, milwaukeeadmirals.com/35, to help celebrate 35 Years of Professional Hockey, presented by BMO Harris Bank. The centerpiece of the new site is the Top 35 Admirals of All-Time, which will have new members released each week, culminating with the crowning of #1 on Saturday, April 13th. In addition, the site features extended interviews with significant people in team history, fan memories, the Admirals all-time roster, and team pictures.

HEATING UP...Admirals forward Gabriel Bourque has posted back-to-back multi-point nights, picking up a goal and an assist last Friday and lighting the lamp twice on Sunday. Its just the third time during the regular season, and first since March 15, 2011, that he has lit the lamp twice in one game. The Rimouski, QC native now shows five goals, which is tied for fourth on the team, and nine points this season, despite only playing in ten games.

DIVISIONAL AFFAIRS...Following tonight's game the Admirals set off on a Midwest Division-heavy section of their schedule. Ten of the Ads next 12 games will be intra-divisional affairs, including four games against Rockford and three versus Peoria. That's just one less divisional game than they Ads have played through 23 games this season. Currently Milwaukee's Midwest Division record stands at 7-3-0-1.

AUSTIN-TACIOUS...Admirals forward Austin Watson scored again on Sunday afternoon, upping his team-leading point total to 16 and giving him nine goals, which is tied for first on the club. The Ann Arbor, MI native has averaged a point per game in his past 13 contests (13 pts) and that includes his first career-three point night (2g-1a) on November 24th at Chicago. A first-round pick of Nashville in 2010, Watson is also tops on the team with a +9 rating.
