Tailgate Party: Saturday, October 18, beginning at 4:00 p.m. is your chance to party on Scope's Plaza before that evening's Admirals game against the River Rats. Among the activities will be a food and beverage stand; a bungee run, courtesy of the U.S. Army; inflatable rides, courtesy of By George, Inc.; a live radio remote with 100.5 FM WCMS; a souvenir sale including Hampton Roads Admirals gear; live music and more!
And don't forget, October 18 is also John Brophy Night. The former Hampton Roads Admirals head coach will be honored that evening, and the Admirals will be handing out 5,000 John Brophy bobbleheads, courtesy of TradeStaff & Company.
IN THE COMMUNITY Breakfast with the Animals: Saturday, October 18 at The Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. Mascots Salty and Hat Trick will âfeast with the beasts' at this Virginia Zoo members' event. Attendees will receive a voucher for discount Admirals tickets, too. The breakfast is from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
SeaFest XXII: Tuesday, October 21 at the Hampton Coliseum. When "SeaFest in Space" kicks off, the Admirals will have a table with information, chances to win a prize and the Frank Mathers Trophy on display. SeaFest XXII is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
It's Scary to be Homeless Walk-A-Thon: Sunday, October 26 at The Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. Hat Trick and Salty will make appearances at this event to benefit The Dwelling Place beginning at 2:00 p.m.
