
Admirals to Unveil New Logo on August 1st

Milwaukee, WI-Milwaukee Admirals Owner and CEO Harris Turer announced today that the team will reveal its new logo, color scheme, and jerseys on Tuesday, August 1st at 6:00 pm at the Potawatomi Bingo & Casino Stage on the Henry J. Meier Festival (Summerfest) Grounds.
"We are extremely excited to reveal our new logo," said Turer. "This is a new era for the Milwaukee Admirals and we want to start it off in a tremendous way on the 1st. We look forward to sharing this big night with all of our fans and sponsors."
The unveiling is free and open to the public and the first 2,500 fans will receive a free commemorative cup and all kids in attendance will get a free Jibbit to use in their Crocs. In addition there will be food catered by Saz's and free soda. Local band Mt. Olive will also perform and fans will have the first opportunity to purchase Admirals merchandise with the new logo.
Admirals' players past and present will also be in attendance to model the new jerseys. Players expected to attend include Sheldon Brookbank, Rich Peverley, Danny Lecours, Yves Preston, Carl Valimont, and Tony Hrkac, in addition to Ads' head coach Claude Noel and assistant coach Todd Richards.
Parking is available for $2 at the Italian Community Center and fans should enter the grounds at the Summerfest Mid-gate. Because the Potawatomi Bingo & Casino Stage and seating area are covered, the unveiling will occur regardless of the weather.
