Admirals Sail Past Bulldogs 4-3

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - The Milwaukee Admirals defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-3 at BMO Harris Bradley Center on Sunday night. Mark Van Guilder and Taylor Beck both scored a goal and added two assists while Victor Bartley scored the winner.

The Admirals opened the scoring at 5:57 of the opening frame on a goal by Beck. The puck was fired by Beck from behind the goal line and bounced off the back of Hamilton Bulldogs starting goaltender Cedrick Desjardins and into the net.

Milwaukee made it 2-0 on a goal by Kevin Henderson at 5:46 of the second stanza. Chris Mueller entered the offensive zone and tried a shot which was blocked and the puck bounced out to the slot where Henderson put the rebound past Desjardins.

The Bulldogs cut the lead in half on Antoine Corbin's first professional goal at 16:44 of the second period. Corbin fired the puck from the left point which was tipped in front of the net behind Milwaukee Admirals starting goaltender Jeremy Smith.

The Admirals regained their two-goal lead at 18:53 of the second frame on a tally by Van Guilder. After Michael Latta put a shot on net, the puck came free in front and Van Guilder put it in by Desjardins.

The 'Dogs cut the lead to 3-2 just 46 seconds into the third period on Jarred Tinordi's first professional goal. Tinordi took a shot which bounced off of a player in front of the net and past Smith.

Milwaukee made the score 4-2 on a goal by Bartley at 6:39 of the third stanza. Bartley leaned into a shot from the top of the far faceoff circle and the blast flew by Desjardins.

Hamilton scored another tally at 13:12 of the third frame on a goal by Gabriel Dumont. Brendon Nash fed the puck out in front of the net and Dumont redirected it past Smith.

The Bulldogs' next game is against the Rivermen in Peoria on Tuesday, December 18th at 8:05 p.m. All 'Dogs games during the month of December will be broadcast on Hamilton's Funny 820 (AM 820), with select games simulcast on Montreal's TSN Radio 690 (AM 690).
