
Admirals Release Lampe and Rowe From PTOs

NORFOLK - The Norfolk Admirals today released forward Eric Lampe and Andrew Rowe from their Proefssional Tryout Contract.
Lampe appeared in six games with the Admirals, posting one assist and six penalty minutes after signing on January 11th. The third-year pro had previously been playing with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers. In 34 games with Las Vegas, Lampe has 14 goals and 30 points with 30 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating. He has appeared in 46 career AHL games between the Admirals, Syracuse Crunch, Hamilton Bulldogs and Lake Erie Monsters, scoring four goals and eight points.
Rowe appeared in five games with the Admirals, posting one assist and four penalty minutes after signing on January 12th. He has appeared in 36 games with the ECHL's Elmira Jackals this season, posting 16 goals and 36 points with 24 penalty minutes. Rowe has appeared in 94 career AHL games between the Admirals and the Adirondack Phantoms, scoring 15 goals and 24 points with 30 penalty minutes.
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers provide the next opposition to the Admirals on Friday and Saturday nights at Norfolk Scope Arena. The puck drops on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The first 2,000 fans through the gates on Friday will receive the second set of 2012-13 Admirals trading cards, courtesy of Michael and Son Services and JPM Financial Services/John's Tax Service.
On Saturday, the annual Guns and Hoses game to benefit Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters takes place at 4:00 p.m. before the Admirals and Sound Tigers play at 7:15 p.m. A ticket to one game gets you into the other for free. Plus, the third post-game skate with the Admirals of the season takes place after the conclusion of the Admirals contest. A limited number of skates will be available or you may bring your own skates.
