Robinson, who turned 27 on Monday, made his pro debut with the Aces as a rookie in 2006. It was the first of two successful seasons he spent in Alaska, combining for 71 points (40g, 31a) and 99 PIM in 117 games. He also appeared in 23 playoff games during that time. As a rookie, he tied for third on the team in goal scoring. Following his departure from the Aces via a 2008 off-season trade to the Johnstown Chiefs, Robinson appeared in just 14 games before a knee injury prematurely ended his season. He began the following year in Johnstown before joining the Stockton Thunder in November of 2009 and rebounded from his injury with a phenomenal year. The 6'1", 185 lbs. South Surrey, British Columbia native finished second on the Thunder in goal scoring and fourth in points after posting 55 points (28g, 27a) in 51 games.

That season marked his most recent in the ECHL. He has spent the last two seasons with the Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League where he stamped his name amongst the top offensive players in the league. Robinson paced Wichita in goal scoring each of the last two years, netting 39 and 34 goals, respectively for 73 goals in 121 combined games. He added 51 assists for 124 points over those seasons. He finished the 2010-2011 season with a career-high 40 goals, tying for second in the CHL.

Last season Robinson finished fourth in CHL goal scoring and added 24 assists in 64 games. He led the Thunder to their first ever CHL Finals appearance with his Game Six, series-clinching, overtime goal in the Conference Finals. He was named to the All-CHL team and was a finalist for the CHL MVP Award. He was a 2011 & 2012 CHL All-Star, netting a hat trick in 2011 All-Star Game and posting two goals in the 2012 mid-season showcase. Robinson's career has featured the consistency of a premier scorer. In six pro seasons, Robinson has been 30-goal scorer three times, and a 20-goal scorer four times. Robinson has amassed 274 points (148g, 126a) in 323 career regular season games.

Robinson becomes the second veteran to sign with the Aces this season, joining defenseman Steve Ward. The ECHL allows a maximum of four veterans per team - defined as players who have played 260 or more professional regular season games prior to the start of the 2012-2013 season.

Prior turning pro, Robinson exhibited his ability as a top-tier scorer in junior hockey. In his last three seasons in juniors - one in the BCHL and two in the WHL - he combined for 79 goals and 150 points in 174 games.

The Aces 2012-2013 season begins on the road and the club will return home on Friday, October 19 at Sullivan Arena. Season ticket and sponsorship packages are currently available through the Aces office at 15th & Gambell.
