Round Rock, Tex. - The Reno Aces (20-24) were swept in Saturday's doubleheader against the Round Rock Express (25-18) at Dell Diamond. Reno held the lead for most of the first matchup before surrendering it in the sixth inning and eventually suffering a 3-2 loss on a walk-off home run by Jantzen Witte. Humberto Castellanos took a no-decision in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, getting charged with two runs on seven hits and one walk through 5.2 innings, he punched out five. The 26-year-old held the Express scoreless into the sixth inning where he ran into trouble, allowing a run to pass before leaving the game with bases loaded. The right-hander owns a 5.29 ERA with a 30:13 K: BB through 32.1 innings over seven starts (eight appearances) this season.
The Aces will look to get back on track in Sunday's series finale against the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, with the first pitch scheduled for 11:05 a.m. PT.
