Aces Fall to the Bees in 15-8 Loss

Reno, Nev. - Despite a 13-hit performance, the Reno Aces (27-28) were taken down by the Salt Lake Bees (24-30) in a 15-8 defeat on Friday night at Greater Nevada Field. The Aces have tallied 12 plus hits in four consecutive games.

Deyvison De Los Santos headlined the scoring for Reno, going 2-for-5 with a double and his first Triple-A home run, a 107 MPH line-drive over the right field porch. The 20-year-old finished with three RBI and moved his slash line to .300/.349/.525 with nine RBI in 10 games since joining the Aces.

Jorge Barrosa returned to the Aces lineup after missing a month while recovering from a right hamstring strain. The speedy outfielder went 1-for-3 with two RBI and is now hitting .310 with 12 RBI and nine walks in 52 plate appearances.

Tristin English went 3-for-5, extending his hitting streak to six games. In that span, the former third-round pick has gone 11-for-26 (.423) with two home runs and six RBI.

Albert Almora Jr. and Adrian Del Castillo each tallied multi-hit games with a pair of knocks.

Joe Jacques made his first appearance since rejoining Reno's bullpen from a sprained ankle, working for 2.0 innings without allowing a run.

Reno will look to return to the win column in Saturday's matchup against the Salt Lake Bees, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. PT.
