Aces Face Sparks in Rematch on Saturday at 6 PM PT on SSSEN

Las Vegas - The 2022 WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces (2-0, 2-0) will take on the Los Angeles Sparks (1-1, 1-1) Saturday evening at 6 pm PT, in the second of back-to-back contests between the two clubs. The game will be broadcast on Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network.

The Las Vegas Aces will celebrate their 2022 WNBA Championship prior to the home opener with banner unfurling and ring presentation. Additionally, multiple Grammy and American Music Awards winner Anita Baker will perform the national anthem and platinum recording artist Coi Leray will perform at halftime.

Following their 94-85 win over the Sparks last night, the Aces are now 43-53 all-time against LA in the regular season but have won 11-straight games in the series, the league's longest active winning streak against a single franchise.

Last time out: Jackie Young scored a career-high 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the field to lead the Aces to victory over the Sparks in Los Angeles on Thursday. A'ja Wilson collected her 56thcareer double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds after hitting 11-of-13 from the line, Chelsea Gray added 16 points and eight assists, and Candace Parker finished with 10 points and 8 rebounds. The Sparks were led by 19 points from Chiney Ogwumike and 15 from Lexie Brown. Nneka Ogwumike, who scored 17 points in the Sparks opener, did not play due to a non-COVID illness.

Trailing by 10 points at halftime, 46-36, the Aces patiently chipped away at LA's edge and with 3:31 on the clock, a driving layup by Wilson had Las Vegas within 2 points, 59-57. The Sparks called a timeout, but the Aces responded with a 10-4 run, receiving four points apiece from Gray and Young, to close the quarter up 67-63. The Aces outscored the Sparks 31-17 in the third quarter, and by the end of the period, Wilson had her 56th-straight double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds).
