Inter Miami CF News Release
The Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health has competed in several competitions through a busy winter period, offering several competitive opportunities to its players. During this period, a few players were selected as the standouts, with two being chosen as the Players of the Month for November.
For our older age groups, U-17 player Khobi Thomas was chosen as the Player of the Month.
"Khobi is a standout player in the U-17 group. He has been performing really well, scoring goals and having good performances. His ability to show up in the important moments of games, to not only score goals but also lead the team to overcome in hard moments, has been impressive. He has been working a lot and improving a lot. We're very happy with his development," said U-17 Academy coach Javier Morales.
For our younger age groups, it was U13 player Mattias Vieux who was given the honor of being chosen as Player of the Month.
"Mattias is a standout player in the 2009 age group. He has been at the club since its inception and in the past month has shown his grand goalscoring qualities on a grand stage, scoring goals and having stellar performance against top MLS NEXT competition. His ability to show up in the important moments of games, to not only score goals but also lead the line as the first person to press, has been evident and a catalyst for the 2009 age group's success so far this season," said U-13 Academy coach Gibran Tevar.
