
Abney Assigned to Stockton

Oklahoma City Barons News Release
Oklahoma City - The Edmonton Oilers assigned forward Cameron Abney to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL, General Manager Bill Scott announced today.
Abney, a 6-5, 200-pounder from Aldergrove, B.C. has split time this season between Stockton and Oklahoma City. With the Barons, he has appeared in three games and served seven penalty minutes. Last season, the Oilers 3rd round draft choice (81st overall) in the 2009 NHL Draft also split time between Stockton and Oklahoma City. In 46 games last season, he recorded five points (2-3-5) while serving 156 penalty minutes.
The Barons home this weekend to take on the Milwaukee Admirals. Puck drops for both games at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
Friday is Barons lunch pail night. The first 1,000 fans through the doors receive a Barons Lunch Pail. Saturday, the Barons are helping fans prepare for the holiday season and giving away a brand new GMC Acadia. During the second intermission, one lucky fan wins a GMC Acadia from the Barons and John Vance Motors. After the game Saturday, fans are invited to come to ice level and shoot for a Thanksgiving turkey from Schwab Meats.
