Aberdeen IronBirds News Release
The Aberdeen IronBirds are excited to announce their Copa de la Diversion alternate identity for the 2025 season. For one game, the IronBirds will play as Cencerros Increibles de Aberdeen!
About Copa
"Copa de la Diversión or "Fun Cup" is a season-long event series specifically designed to embrace the culture and values that resonate most with Minor League Baseball teams' local Hispanic communities.
Our Story
Cencerros Increibles de Aberdeen ties into the rich history of Latin American culture and music using the percussion instrument "the cowbell". It connects generations and crosses borders with the multifaceted sounds of different musical styles; salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, reggaeton and others to the traditions and vibrancy of the Latin American heritage. IronBirds fans use "Cal" bells at our games to show their support and excitement to the players - just like so many Latinos who support the growth and future success of Aberdeen.

Opened in 2002, the Aberdeen IronBirds, an Attain Sports team, are the Advanced-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, operating in founders Bill and Cal Ripken, Jr.'s hometown. 2025 will be the 23rd year and 23rd season of IronBirds baseball.
