Abbotsford Heat Announce Training Camp Schedule

ABBOTSFORD BC - The Abbotsford Heat's second season in the American Hockey League will open with Heat training camp on Monday, September 27th.

This year's edition of the Heat will practice Monday the 27th and Wednesday the 29th before the team heads out to Winnipeg for a pair of AHL pre-season matchups with the Manitoba Moose on October 1st and 2nd. The team will then resume practice on Monday October 4th and 5th before heading out to Grand Rapids for their regular season debut on Friday, October 8th.

All training camp practices are open to the public will be held at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre, which is located at 33800 King Rd. in Abbotsford. All practices will begin at 11 am and generally run between 90 minutes to two hours.

The Abbotsford Heat will open their season at home with a pair of games against the Rockford Ice Hogs on Friday, October 15th and Saturday, October 16th.
