Aeros Announce 2010-11 Promotional Schedule

HOUSTON- The Houston Aeros announced today their promotional schedule and theme nights for the 2010-11 season.

Highlighting the promotional schedule are six "Friday T-Shirt Frenzy" nights. On certain Friday night home games throughout the regular season, more than 500 T-shirts will be tossed into the crowd. The first Friday T-Shirt Frenzy is October 22 when the Aeros battle the Peoria Rivermen and that game will feature an Aeros' schedule T-Shirt.

For the third straight year Aeros' fans can bring their dog to a game, as "Chilly's Pet Pals" will take place on Sunday, November 21 with the Texas Stars in town. A portion of the proceeds from the game will benefit the Houston Humane Society.

The annual TAKS Test Kids Game returns this season on December 2nd at 11:05 am, when the Aeros play host to the Rockford IceHogs. Last season more than 9,000 kids attended the kids game.

On December 10, the Aeros will host their eighth annual Teddy Bear Toss as they take on their I-10 rivals, the San Antonio Rampage, and the first 1,500 fans will receive a free Aeros' scarf.

"Chillypalooza" also returns this season featuring an Aeros plush toy giveaway to the first 1,500 kids on January 16th when the Aeros play host to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Fan Appreciation Night closes out the 2010-2011 regular season as the Aeros play the Oklahoma City Barons on April 10.
