B-Sens Sign Defenseman Brennan Turner

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed defenseman Brennan Turner to a one-year, two-way American Hockey League contract.
Turner, 23, spent the 2009-10 season with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. In 62 games with the Jackals, Turner recorded 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) and amassed 144 penalty minutes. He led the team in plus-minus with a plus-33, setting a new Jackals franchise record for plus-minus.
Turner also appeared in five playoff games for the Jackals last season, recording five assists and 13 penalty minutes.
The Winnipeg, Man. native has appeared in seven career AHL games with Rockford recording one assist and amassing 19 penalty minutes.
