
Aaron Berisha Commits to Belleville

BELLEVILLE, ON -Belleville Bulls Head Coach and General Manager George Burnett announced Monday Aaron Berisha, the team's fourth round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection is heading to Belleville for the 2012-13 season. The Mississauga native has spent this season playing at Salisbury Prep School in Salisbury, Connecticut.
Berisha was named the 2011 OHL Cup MVP after leading fellow teammate Jordan Subban and the GTHL Champion Toronto Marlboros to the title with 8 goals and 5 assists in 7 tournament games.
"Aaron has followed up a strong Minor Midget season with a terrific sophomore year at Salisbury, making him one of the most sought after Division I prospects this season," said Burnett. "It's great for our organization to have Aaron and his family's commitment to come and play in Belleville."
Berisha has 29 goals and 35 assists in 43 games with Salisbury this season and continues to develop his game. "Aaron's has excellent skill, vision and hockey sense that have enabled him to be considered amongst the elite offensive players at every level he's competed at," added Burnett. "We look forward to seeing him in Belleville next season."
