A great "Knight" at the All-Star Game

February 1, 2007- Hollywood Fame guard Billy Knight, was named the Most Valuable Player during the ABA All-Star festivities held in Halifax, Canada. Knight led the West to victory with 25 points and 10 rebounds. For the season, Billy is averaging 22 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game for the 10-6 Hollywood Fame.

"Everyone here at the Hollywood Fame is very proud and excited of Billy's accomplishments," Fame Head Coach Hernando Planells said, "Billy is extremely talented and is capable of competing at a high level".

Knight's MVP is yet another award that can be added to his accomplishments. He has had a very successful career overseas, playing in Sweden, Cyprus, France and Qatar. In 2004 Eurobasket.com named Billy to the all Sweden team and in 2005 he was named forward of the year in Cyprus.

The Hollywood Fame is the newest team to join the ABA. They are owned by a host of celebrities and professional athletes including A.J. Discala, Nick Lachey, Geoff Stults ("7th Heaven" and "The Break-Up"), Stacy Keibler ("Dancing With the Stars"), former NBA legend John Salley, former MLB All-Star Brady Anderson, the Atlanta Braves Mike Hampton, NFL quarterback Kyle Boller of the Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR's Brian Vickers, among others.
