Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact has put in place a few promotions to encourage tickets sales for games at the Olympic Stadium, most notably for this weekend's matchup against the Portland Timbers, on Saturday at 2pm ET.
The Impact is offering a family package of four tickets for the price of two for two adults and two children under 16 years old. This offer is available in all ticket categories via the Admission Network (admission.com / 514-790-1245), as well as the ticket offices at Stade Saputo and the Olympic Stadium.
For a limited time, the club is also organizing a promotion for supporters who like the Montreal Impact on facebook.
"Ticket sales are going well, but we have a large inventory of seats available at the Olympic Stadium, which allows us the possibility of offering more aggressive promotions," said executive vice-president Richard Legendre. "The Olympic Stadium allows us the chance to introduce our team to a larger number of people."
Following the visit by Scottish forward Kris Boyd and the Timbers, the Impact will play three more games at Olympic Stadium before returning to the revamped Stade Saputo. On Wednesday, at 8pm, the Impact begins its Amway Canadian Championship adventure against rival Toronto FC, with the aim of qualifying for the CONCACAF Champions League.
LA Galaxy and its international star David Beckham will be in town on May 12, at 4pm. And then on May 19, the Impact will look to avenge a 5-2 loss at the hands of the New York Red Bulls and star forward Thierry Henry, who picked up a hat trick in the first meeting on March 31.
The Impact has hosted 82,032 spectators in its two games at Olympic Stadium so far. The average attendance in MLS this season is 18,787 fans per game, a total of 1,183,779 people over 63 regular season games.
New season packages for Stade Saputo
The Impact also announced on Wednesday that new season ticket packages for the 12 games slated for Stade Saputo will be available starting Saturday at both sales kiosks at Olympic Stadium, as well as on impactmontreal.com.
Packages will be available in five categories: costing $179, $249, $379, $569, and $839 (plus tax). Tickets in the south-west platform, the new family zone, will be available on a per game basis.
Please note that the Impact plays its first game at Stade Saputo, expanded to 20,341 seats, on June 16 against the Seattle Sounders FC.
Season tickets are still available, including the games at Olympic Stadium, starting at $14 per game. Visit the team's website at impactmontreal.com or by calling 514-328-3668.
