ROCKFORD, Ill. - After a short trip to Evansville, the Rockford RiverHawks return to Marinelli Field 7:05 p.m. Saturday to begin an exciting three-game series against Ohio Valley.
The âHawks pack three great promotions into this weekend series before a day off on August 2nd and then heading back on the road for six straight.
Fans attending Saturday's series opener will receive a RiverHawk baseball card set, courtesy of Pella Windows and Continental Coupons.
Bryden Motors and WROK sponsor a travel mug giveaway for Sunday's game, a 6:05 p.m start.
Monday's promotion is a diamond in the rough, or, at least, a diamond in the field. After the conclusion of the series finale, all women 18 and over will have a chance to participate in the Diamond Dig, brought to you by Clodius and Hot 105.9 FM. A box with a 1 Karat diamond ring inside it will be buried in the field for one lucky lady to find.
Giveaways are limited to the first 1,000 fans and the gate opens one hour prior to first pitch each night.
The RiverHawks are the defending champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 13th season. Tickets are available by calling the box office at 964-BALL. All games are broadcast live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 - the Hub, and at rockfordriverhawks.com.
