
\'Cats \'n \'Cops basketball team set to hit high school hardwood

The HAMILTON TIGER-CATS and the HAMILTON POLICE SERVICE will be hitting the court again this off-season touring high schools in and around the Hamilton area for a series of exhibition basketball games with proceeds going towards various school fund raising activities and the MCMASTER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL in Hamilton.
The âCats ân âCops basketball team is scheduled to play close to a dozen games between February 18th and April 2nd. Tiger-Cat team members include Rob Hitchcock, Danny McManus, John Macdonald, Ryan Donnelly, Mark Verbeek, Chad Plummer, Wayne Shaw and Ibrahim Tounkara.
The team's Police Service contingent will once again be led by Hamilton Police Service School Liason Officer Jack Vanderpol, also a former star basketball player with the McMaster University Marauders in Hamilton.
