Tiger-Cats Bring Six More To Tigertown

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed six import players. Receiver Reggie Fish, offensive lineman Marcus Gordon, receiver Burl Toler, defensive back Rodney Van, defensive lineman Jason Vega and linebacker Marlon Williams will take the field for practice today.

Fish, a 5-7, 163-pound native of Mesquite, Texas played four seasons at Arkansas, where he caught 14 passes for 127 yards and returned 29 punts for 159 yards.

Gordon, a 6-6, 320-pound native of Memphis, Tennessee signed with the NFL's Denver Broncos in 2009 after finishing his collegiate career with Kentucky State.

Toler, a 6-2, 190-pound native of Berkeley, California has previously spent time with the NFL's Washington Redskins and Oakland Raiders, the AFL's San Jose SaberCats and also played one season in Italy. During his four years at California, Toler hauled in 69 receptions for 873 yards and four touchdowns.

Van, a 6-0, 175-pound native of Long Beach, California played four seasons at UCLA, making 113 tackles (85 solo), 3.5 tackles for losses and two interceptions. He suited up with the Arena Football League's San Jose SaberCats in 2008.

Vega, a 6-5, 265-pound native of Brockton, Massachusetts recorded 137 tackles (73 solo) and 14 quarterback sacks in 41 games over four seasons at Northeastern. He was named to the CAA Academic All-Conference Team in 2009.

Williams, a 6-0, 218-pound native of Abilene, Texas earned an All-Big 12 honourable mention in 2007 and 2008 with Texas Tech. During his four years with the Red Raiders, he registered 214 tackles (136 solo), 5.5 quarterback sacks, 13.5 tackles for losses and one interception.
