B.C. Lions News Release

(Vancouver) With 541 days to go before Vancouver plays host to the 99th Grey Cup in 2011, BC Lions president and CEO Dennis Skulsky along with 2011 Grey Cup committee chairman Moray Keith and 2011 Grey Cup general manager Scott Ackles introduced members of the 2011 Grey Cup committee, revealed the 2011 championship brand (attached) and announced the first three 2011 Grey Cup Festival premier partners.

Skulsky began the morning's announcements by officially turning over the reins of the 2011 Grey Cup Committee over to Keith. "Our first order of business is to announce that Moray Keith will be the sole chairman of the committee," Skulsky told the assembled media. "With my new role as president and CEO of the Lions, it's a natural opportunity to hand off the leadership of the 2011 Grey Cup to Moray Keith. Moray has agreed to this expanded role and brings an outstanding network of contacts with local business and community leaders. Moray is a very successful entrepreneur who also believes strongly in giving back to his community. We are fortunate to have Moray with his passion for football take on this important leadership role."

Keith wasted little time introducing the committee that will oversee all aspects of the 99th Grey Cup slated for November 27, 2011. "We are fortunate to live in a community that can bring together so many amazing people who can lend their experience and expertise to this tremendous undertaking, said Keith. "We established a new benchmark in 2005 with the festival and the game and I believe that bar has yet to be equaled. We'll set the bar even higher in 2011."
