
Ahearn, Tolliver Read To Second Graders

AUSTIN, Texas (Dec. 15, 2008) - Blake Ahearn and Anthony Tolliver will read to second graders at Rowe Lane Elementary in Pflugerville, Texas today at 2:00 p.m. as part of the Toros Read to Achieve and NBA Development League Season of Cheering events this month. Ahearn and Tolliver are on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs.
Both Ahearn and Tolliver have contributed significantly to the Toros 5-3 start. In six games, Ahearn averages 18.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and six assists. Tolliver averages 19 points and eight rebounds in five games.
The Toros head to Albuquerque this week to play back to back games on Thursday and Friday. They return to Austin to take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center.
