93Q and Crunch to hold casting call cor National Anthem singers

Syracuse, NY (September 13, 2005) - The Syracuse Crunch, along with 93Q, announced today that they will be holding a casting call for National Anthem singers on Wednesday, September 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter.

Anyone interested in auditioning for a National Anthem position with the Crunch is asked to proceed to the Section One corner where they will be required to sing the beginning of the anthem. At that time Ted and Amy from 93Q and Crunch staff members will judge each participant and narrow the contestants down to five. The five finalists will be contacted on Thursday, September 22.

The five finalists will then compete on 93Q on Wednesday, September 28 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite choice on www.93Q.com (on the Ted and Amy page) until Monday, October 3. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, October 4 on the Ted and Amy Morning Show at 7:20 a.m. and will then debut at the Crunch's Express Mart Opening Night on October 8. The winner, along with the finalists will make up the Crunch's National Anthem singers list.

There will be pizza and soda provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All interested participants can register prior to September 21 by calling Kim Kozdemba in the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 ext. 130, by emailing kkozdemba@syracusecrunch.com or by stopping in the Crunch office. Participants may also register the day of the event.
