BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox select 8-year-old Briana Wallace from Oxon Hill, Md., as the winner for the December portion of Louie's Winter Warm-Up Coloring Contest. Wallace will receive a Baysox prize pack and will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before a Baysox game in 2010.
Baysox Director of Marketing Brandan Kaiser was pleased by the response for the first month of the contest. "We had a number of great entries that fans can see at www.baysox.com," said Kaiser. "We look forward to seeing how creative our fans will be with the January and February pictures."

The Baysox kick off the January portion of the coloring contest today with the Sledding Louie picture. The picture is available to download and print for free at www.baysox.com. New winners will be selected in February and March.
Fans are encouraged to be creative with the drawings! They can color Sledding Louie and the background however they want. Entries should be sent to: Bowie Baysox, Attn: Coloring Contest, 4101 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20716. Parents are asked to fill out the contact information for each submission and kids can color as many Sledding Louies as they want.

The Baysox open their 18th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles at Prince George's Stadium on Thursday, April 8, at 7:05 p.m. against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
