#7 - Cole Chandler
Height: 6'0.5 ¬Â³ | Weight: 159 lbs
Year of Birth: 2007
Shoots: Right
At just 15 years of age, Cole Chandler led the NSU18MHL's Steele Subaru squad in both goals (26) and points (51).
Cole is a lanky centre with excellent offensive skills. He has great vision, generates the offence, and makes his teammates better. He ranked 4th in scoring in the NSU18MHL (U18 AAA) and 1st among rookies despite his young age. It is all about physical strength in his case, but we believe that time will do its work for this youngster in full growth and progression. Cole is identified as the best prospect from the Atlantic Provinces.
According to Taylor P. Burke, Nova Scotia CSR Scout (JAN '23):
Cole Chandler is one of the most dynamic players in the Nova Scotia U18 league. He is an offensive playmaker who has shown he can take over a game. He has incredible poise with the puck and uses his skill and size to generate offensive opportunities for both himself and his teammates. Cole has demonstrated his ability to score, as he leads the NSU18 league in goals as a rookie. Cole's offensive skill, competitive nature, and hockey IQ make him one of the top players to watch for the upcoming draft coming out of the Maritimes.
