Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® (19-18-4, 42 Points) defeated the Bakersfield Condors (14-24-6, 34 Points) 5-1 in front of 6,902 fans on Friday night at the Orleans Arena. Wranglers' goalie Glenn Fisher led the way stopping 45 shots in his Las Vegas debut. Forward Adam Miller scored two goals and added an assist as Las Vegas improved to 13-8-2 at home this season. Forwards Chris Ferraro and Peter Ferraro also scored, as did defenseman Chris St. Croix. Defenseman Dan Spang dished out two assists for Las Vegas. Forward Dave Bonk scored the only Condors' goal. Bakersfield goalie Dave McKee stopped 18 shots for his tenth loss of the season. Las Vegas will play Bakersfield at the Orleans Arena on Monday at 7:30 PM.

In the first period, Las Vegas forward Chris Ferraro put a loose puck in to give the Wranglers a 1-0 lead on the power play. Forward Shawn Limpright and defenseman Dan Spang set up Ferraro's 14th goal of the season at 3:12. Forward Adam Miller put Las Vegas up 2-0 with his ninth goal of the season. Winger Hugo Carpentier sprung Miller for a breakaway. Miller slipped the puck past Dave McKee at 16:24, giving the Wranglers a two-goal lead. Defenseman Chris St. Croix expanded the Wranglers lead to 3-0 with a power-play goal late in the period. Miller set up St. Croix's first goal with Las Vegas with only 47-seconds remaining in the opening period.

After a scoreless second period, Bakersfield forward Dave Bonk trimmed the Wranglers' lead to 3-1 at 11:57. Bonk's 15th goal of the season was set up by Ryan Mahrle and Matt Pope while on a five-on-three power play. Wranglers' Captain Peter Ferraro scored his tenth goal of the season at 14:56, pushing the Las Vegas lead to 4-1. Chris Ferraro and Hugo Carpentier set up the goal to regain the three-goal Las Vegas lead. While on the power play, Adam Miller scored his second goal of the night at 16:30. Forward Tyler Mosienko set up the goal from behind the net to finish the scoring in favor of Las Vegas at 5-1.

Bakersfield will stay in town to play at 7:30 PM on Monday.
