
67's Unveil Top 50 Players of All Time

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's have unveiled the list of the franchises' Top 50 players in time to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the club's first-ever game on Friday night.
The list, compiled by legendary former 67's Head Coach and GM Brian Kilrea, his longtime assistant Bert O'Brien and former GM and current head scout Pat Higgins, is a who's who of Ottawa hockey greats.
Though the list isn't ranked, it is headlined by the likes of OHL and NHL legends Denis Potvin and Bobby Smith and includes unforgettable names like Murray Wilson, Peter Lee, Doug Wilson, Darren Pang and Mike Peca as well as current NHL stars like Logan Couture and Tyler Toffoli, among many others.
The list was released to coincide with Friday's special game against Oshawa in which the 67's will honour the five decades since that first game against the Montreal Junior Canadiens all those years ago. Among the returning alumni will be Pierre Jarry, the club's first true star.

Tickets are still available for Friday's anniversary game against the General starting at $15. The puck drops at 7 p.m. but fans are encouraged to arrive early to take in all of the pre-game festivities.
