67's Season Ends in Game Seven

Ottawa 67's News Release
It's too bad it had to end like this, but every game has its highs and lows. Tonight though, was one of the lowest.
Heading into third period with a 3-1 lead, the 67's looked strong. Their efforts just weren't enough as the IceDogs scored twice to tie, sending the game into overtime.
All the heart-stopping tension came to an abrupt end when Niagara scored the game winner just 13 seconds into overtime - ending the 67's playoff run and Killer's last charge. The disappointed team partly broke into tears and partly collapsed on the ice.
Looking back on an amazing season, the team has a lot to be proud of - and the fans recognized this as well: a standing ovation sent Killer out from behind the bench for the last time.
Thank you to all Ottawa 67's fans for your support throughout the season - We couldn't have done it without you!
We hope you join us again, or for the first time, for a fresh start next season. Until then, have a wonderful summer!
