Ottawa 67's News Release

OTTAWA, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Ottawa 67's defenceman Kevin Bahl has received a 10-game suspension following the review of an incident in last Sunday's game against the Peterborough Petes. Bahl will eligible to return to the 67's lineup Friday, March 2 when the 67's visit Eastern Conference leading Hamilton Bulldogs.

The incident reviewed was a game misconduct for a checking to the head assessed to Bahl following a check to Peterborough Petes defenceman Cole Fraser.

"Ten games without a player of Kevin's ability is difficult on any hockey club at this time of the year, but we accept the league's ruling on this incident and look forward to having him back in the lineup on March 2 as we continue our drive towards the playoffs," said 67's GM James Boyd.

The 67's return to action at The Arena at TD Place this Saturday when they host the Oshawa Generals at 2 p.m. followed by the Owen Sound Attack on Sunday at 2 p.m.

67's single-game tickets start at $12 and are available at Ottawa67s.com/Single-Game-Tickets, by calling 613.232.6767 or in person at The Box Office at TD Place. All minor hockey players part of the 67's Prospect Program get in for FREE.
