SIOUX FALLS, S.D., April 2, 2013 - The Tulsa 66ers came up short to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, falling 97-92 on Tuesday at Sioux Falls Arena in South Dakota.
Rasual Butler led the 66ers with a season-best 32 points. Ron Anderson collected his third double-double of the year with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
In a game that featured 16 lead changes, the 66ers (26-22) stuck with the Skyforce (25-23) before Sioux Falls broke an 85-85 tie with a 9-2 run, taking a 94-87 lead with a minute remaining.
Butler scored five points in the final minute but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.
Tulsa pulled down 41 rebounds and distributed 18 assists, including eight from Tony Taylor.
The Skyforce was led by Demetris Nichols, who scored 34 points on 12-for-19 shooting.
The 66ers have just two games in remaining in the regular season with a road matchup against Iowa on Thursday and a home contest against Fort Wayne on Saturday. Both games will air live on YouTube and Tulsa66ers.com.
