
Playoff Implications & Commodore Perry Bobblehead Highlight Big BayHawks Weekend

Erie, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, April 2 - "Don't Give up the Ship" are the famous words on the battle flag flown by Commodore Oliver "Hazard" Perry during the Battle of Lake Erie, and that's just what the Erie BayHawks will attempt to do this weekend as they face a must-win situation in their final two regular season home games.
In order to qualify for the NBA Development League playoffs set to start next week, Erie needs two wins against the Maine Red Claws on Friday and Saturday night, combined with a Sioux Falls loss, to earn one of the two remaining spots.
Fans can also look forward to all the following promotions this weekend:
Friday, April 5 at 7pm
- The Erie Zoo will have a few creatures in the HealthAmerica Kidz Wing for children of all ages to explore.
- General Electric Credit Union Superfan "Bubba Luv" will make his final appearance of the season
Saturday, April 6 at 7pm
- First 1,000 fans receive a Commodore Perry bobblehead courtesy of Penelec
- Fan Appreciation Night giveaways throughout the game and full team post-game photos and autographs for all fans
- Season ticket holders will be selected to be introduced with the team at the start of the game and other season ticket holders will be chosen at random to win each of the BayHawks players' game worn jerseys.
Playoff pairings and the first-round playoff schedule will be announced on Sunday, April 7.

The Erie BayHawks, presented by LECOM, are the NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knicks.
