Albuquerque, N.M., February 28, 2008 - Mike Hall scorched the Albuquerque Thunderbirds for a game high 36 points and 14 rebounds helping the Tulsa 66ers to a 112 - 103 victory over the Thunderbirds. Kevin Pittsnogle led Albuquerque in the loss with 25 points including six three pointers.

Tulsa had four players in double figures including David Noel's 23 points, and Adam Harrington's 19 points. As a team Tulsa shot 52% from the field and a 54% from 3-point distance.

Albuquerque had seven scorers put up double figures including Josh Gross and Jamaal Thomas who scored 16 apiece. Cory Underwood, Daryl Dorsey and Dwight Brewington scored 11, 10 and 11 off the bench respectively.

Hall had 11 first quarter points for Tulsa to lead all scorers in the quarter. Albuquerque used a 13 - 5 run over a five minute span in the middle of the quarter to take the lead. The Thunderbirds lead was 25 - 20 after one.

Pittsnogle had 8 points and Dyer had 7 for the Thunderbirds as they matched the 66ers 27 in the quarter. Albuquerque maintained their five point lead at the half 52 - 47.

Tulsa grabbed the lead early in the third quarter with a 14 - 4 run out of the break, fueled by 9 straight points from Hall who led all scorers in the quarter with 19 points. Pittsnogle kept Albuquerque close with 12 points in the quarter making the score 84 - 82 Tulsa after three.

Tulsa continues their road trip Saturday, March 1st against the Colorado 14ers in Broomfield, CO. game time is set for 7:00 pm from the Broomfield events center.

Albuquerque continues their home stand tomorrow, Friday, February 29th against the 14ers at Tingley Coliseum; game time is set for 7:00 pm.
