San Bernardino, CA - The Inland Empire 66ers (Class 'A' Partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers) are offering their fans an opportunity to support an outstanding cause and walk away with a one karat diamond at the Diamond Dig, presented by Bijoux Luxury Jewelers of Redlands, this Friday at Arrowhead Credit Union Park.
On Friday August 20th Bijoux Luxury Jewelers will hide a diamond on the diamond at Arrowhead Credit Union Park for one lucky fan to find. The one karat gem was donated by Bijoux and Royal star to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF's mission is to find a cure for diabetes through the support of research and to develop new and better treatments that improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes.
Fans can purchase shovels for $10 all this week to be used to dig up the diamond. Bijoux Jewelers at 206 Orange Street in Redlands will have shovels available all week up until game day. Fans will still have time to purchase shovels on Friday at Arrowhead Credit Union Park. All proceeds will benefit JDRF.
Great seats and incredible values on group outings are still out there for the remainder of the 2010 season, including Fan Appreciation Day, Sunday August 29th when the 66ers will be giving away 1,500 Fleece Blankets to their faithful fans.
