5 Islanders Players Graduated During the 2021-22 Season
July 9, 2021 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Charlottetown Islanders News Release
The Charlottetown Islanders are proud to announce that 5 players have graduated from their school program during the 2021-22 season.
Congratulations to Patrick Guay, Oscar Plandowski, Ben Boyd, Drew Elliott, and Jacob Goobie.
Like all Canadian students, the school year for QMJHL players was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. They had to adapt to online learning in order to continue their studies in high school, CEGEP, or university. It took a lot of organization, motivation, and perseverance to keep putting the necessary efforts into their studies, all while having to adjust to a very unique hockey season.
For anyone interested in making a donation to the QMJHL Foundation to help student-athletes in the pursuit of their studies, you can do so. A tax receipt will be sent to you for any amount of $20 or more.
