Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack, in partnership with Shorty's Classic Grill is pleased to announce that the 4th Annual Shorty's Eat Your Heart Out Charity Dinner will take place on Sunday, January 29th, following the Attack's game against the Ottawa 67's.
Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the opportunity to dine with their favourite Attack player. Bidding will begin on Saturday, January 28th when the Attack host the Guelph Storm and conclude at the end of the 2nd intermission of Sunday afternoon's game. Bidding will be set up in the South Concourse of the JD McArthur Arena as in past years.
"This is the perfect opportunity for fans to get to know their favourite players in a little quieter setting than the rink.", explained Brent Fisher, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Attack. "This event has grown each year and it is great to see fans excited about this fun and eventful evening."
Each Attack player is up for auction and the winning bid includes dinner for both the winning bidder and the player they have bid on. As always, fans can bring up to two additional guests for dinner at their own expense. A specialized menu for the evening's events has been provided by Shorty's and ALL proceeds from the event will go directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Stan Dimakos, Owner of Shorty's Classic Grill has been gracious enough to donate both the food and staffing for this event.
Game time on Saturday, January 28th is 7:30pm, while the action gets underway at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 29th. Tickets for both games are available by contacting the Attack Box Office at (519) 371-7452, online at www.attackhockey.com or dropping by the Box Office in the main lobby of the Bayshore Community Centre.
