Kitchener Rangers VS Cambridge Ice Hounds & Kitchener IcePirates Thursday, December 2 6-8 pm Galt Arena Gardens, Cambridge Monetary donation at the door (by choice)

Heading into their fifth season, the Cambridge Ice Hounds continue to provide opportunities for individuals with any disability to play the game we love... hockey. The Ice Hounds are continuing to grow in Cambridge with two teams this year! In partnership with the City of Cambridge and Special Hockey International, we are providing a hockey program in Cambridge and making the ice time available to children with developmental needs, allowing them to participate in a hockey program just like all other children, including their peers and siblings. We have no barriers and will provide a spot on our team for any age or ability.

The Kitchener IcePirates provide children with developmental needs the opportunity to play a great sport. The team is theirs, the ice is theirs, and there are no limits for them as individuals. Personal growths, and friendship, are just the beginning for these kids.

Special Hockey International has been around since the '70's. Their goal was to provide kids with developmental disabilities to be able to participate in a sport league that they may not normally have the chance to be on. The organizations goal was to provide a family like atmosphere for these kids, and give them a defined sense of belonging and self-worth.
