Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced that the team has acquired forward Ryan Lopes from the Sudbury Wolves.
In acquiring Lopes the Rangers send Sudbury's 8th round pick in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, originally acquired in exchange for Charlie Dodero.
Lopes accumulated 10 goals and 9 assists in 66 regular season games with the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors last year. This season, Lopes has 1 goal and 1 assist in 16 games played.
