The San Francisco Giants have made the following transactions affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to Sunday's game against Erie:
2B Nick Noonan (Hamstring) activated from Disabled List...1B Roger Kieschnick (Back Spasms) placed on the Disable List [24 + 2 DL]
The corresponding moves leave the Flying Squirrels at the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Two players (1B Andy D'Alessio, Kieschnick) are currently on the Disabled List.
ACTIVATE: 2B Nick Noonan
DISABLE: OF Roger Kieschnick
Additionally, beginning with Richmond's July 5th (Monday) game against Harrisburg, C Nestor Rojas will change uniform numbers to #18.
