20th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game Scheduled for December 9

The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club will proudly host its 20th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game on Tuesday, December 9. The team will host the Erie Otters at 7:00 pm and fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a new or gently-used teddy bear with them to the rink. When possible, we ask that fans bringing plush toys to the game seal them securely in clear, plastic packaging.

Immediately following the Rangers' first goal, the crowd can throw their plush animals onto the ice surface, where they will be collected and distributed to local charitable organizations, just in time for the holidays.

Teddy bears will also be available for purchase at The Aud prior to the game on December 9th, at a cost of $5 and $8.

Over the past 19 years, Rangers fans have generously donated an incredible 101,672 bears for local charitable groups. Groups interested in receiving the teddy bears are encouraged to fill out and return the Teddy Bear Recipient Form found HERE.

The 20th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game is December 9, 2014 at 7:00 pm when the Rangers host the Erie Otters. Tickets are available by phone at 519-578-1570 or 1-800-265-8977, via the internet at www.centre-square.com or in person at the Centre In the Square Box Office or the Kitchener Auditorium Box Office.
