15th Annual Sun Life Financial Teddy Bear Toss Sunday

London Knights News Release
The 15th Annual Sun Life Financial Teddy Bear Toss will take place this Sunday, December 7th as the North Bay Battalion travel to London for a 4pm match up against the London Knights. All fans in attendance are encouraged to bring a brand new stuffed toy with them to the game and when the London Knights score their first goal, fans are encouraged to throw the stuffed toy onto the ice!
All teddy bears collected will be given directly to the local Salvation Army in an effort to help make a great holiday season for children in the community who would normally go without anything to open on Christmas morning. Last year, we watched as 9,819 stuffed animals rained down onto the ice at Budweiser Gardens as Ryan Rupert scored just six and a half minutes into the first period against the visiting Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. This year, we hope to collect even more!
Don't forget the doors open at 3pm for a 4pm puck drop against the North Bay Battalion. For those who cannot make the game we will be accepting donations at Budweiser Gardens' Gate 4 off Dundas Street prior to the game.
