2024 QMJHL Entry Draft Order of Selection Announced

The 2024 QMJHL Entry Draft is quickly approaching and the league has unveiled the official order of selection. Your Mooseheads currently have 13 picks at their disposal, although they are not set to make their first choice until the third round - 53rd overall.
The first round features a pair of compensatory picks for Shawinigan (17th) and Blainville-Boisbriand (19th) as a result of 2023 first round picks Jeremy Loranger and Zachary Morin opting to play in the USHL while committing to NCAA schools.
The Cape Breton Eagles had the good fortune of winning the draft lottery thanks to a pick acquired from Saint John in the trade for Connor Trenholm at the 2022 deadline. Meantime, Val d'Or occupies the second and third overall spots that stem from a December 2022 trade with Quebec involving Justin Robidas.
Gatineau and Shawinigan each have three first round picks, while Val d'Or owns seven picks in the top 40.
The Titan and Wildcats lead the way for the most picks in the draft at 18 apiece. Victoriaville has the fewest picks with 10.
