Inter Miami CF is ready for the Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft 2024 presented by adidas taking place on Tuesday, December 19 at 3 p.m. ET.

Here's what you need to know ahead of the player selection event:

What's the MLS SuperDraft, and how does it work?

The MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas is the method by which clubs around the league select top collegiate players to join their squads under professional contracts

The MLS SuperDraft has three rounds, with each team allowed one pick per round; 87 total this year. The first pick goes to Toronto FC, the team with the fewest 2023 regular-season points, followed by the other teams that did not qualify for the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs. The remaining positions are ranked by the fewest regular-season points among the teams that were eliminated in the same round of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.

Who is eligible for selection?

For the first time in MLS history, the list of players eligible for selection includes a broader range of promising young talent. Players who are currently collegiate sophomores, juniors and above, players who were collegiate seniors and above, along with Generation adidas signings, were eligible for selection, and college players will also still be able to sign Generation adidas contracts Major League Soccer has announced the list of nearly 400 players who are eligible for selection in the MLS SuperDraft 2024 presented by adidas.

Inter Miami CF holds the following picks for the MLS SuperDraft 2024:

FIRST ROUND:

3rd Pick (3rd Overall Pick)

24th pick (24th Overall Pick)

SECOND ROUND:

3rd Pick (32nd Overall Pick)

THIRD ROUND:

3rd Pick (61st Overall Pick)

This will be Inter Miami CF's fifth participation in the MLS SuperDraft. Notable previous selections signed to the First Team includes goalkeeper Cole Jensen (2023), defender Ryan Sailor (2022) and attacker Robbie Robinson (2020).
