2023 Training Camp Roster & Schedule Set

Your Halifax Mooseheads are nearing a return to the ice when 2023 Training Camp - presented by Eastlink - begins with registration day on Saturday, August 19th at RBC Centre in Dartmouth.

49 players are listed on the training camp roster, including 26 forwards, 17 defencemen and six goalies. There are 17 returning players on the roster while some exciting new faces at camp this summer will include forward Liam Kilfoil who was selected by the Mooseheads with their top pick in June's QMJHL Entry Draft as well as fellow forward and recent CHL Import draft pick Yannik Ponzetto. 2022 third round pick Antoine Fontaine is coming off an excellent season with Magog that saw him finish with 57 points in 41 games which was good for second in the QM18AAA league scoring race.

Returning veterans Jordan Dumais (Columbus Blue Jackets), Jake Furlong (San Jose Sharks), Mathieu Cataford (Vegas Golden Knights) and Dylan MacKinnon (Nashville Predators) represent the four players on the 2023-24 roster who have been drafted by NHL clubs.

On ice action gets started on Sunday, August 20th with a pair of Green vs White intrasquad games at 9am and 3pm. All practices and intrasquad games are open to the public for free.

A limited amount of General Admission tickets to the three Mooseheads preseason home games will go on sale on Monday, August 14th at 11am through Ticketmaster Account Manager here: https://am.ticketmaster.com/mooseheads. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $6 for youth 16 & under (plus applicable Ticket Atlantic service fees).

The preseason schedule begins with a home date versus the Cape Breton Eagles on Tuesday, August 22nd at 7pm. Halifax will also host Charlottetown on Friday, August 25th at 7pm and will entertain Cape Breton again on Sunday, September 10th at 4pm. Click here to view the full preseason schedule.
