2023 eMLS Season to Begin this Saturday in New York City

MONTREAL - CF Montréal's eMLS player presented by BMO, CFMTL LOUX 11, will be in action this Saturday, January 28, in New York City as the 2023 eMLS season gets underway.

2023 will feature two marquee League Series events in New York City in January and February and culminate in the eMLS Cup on March 12 in Austin during the SXSW festival. Events will include more days and hours of competitive streaming content than ever before as players compete for a $100,000 prize pool, the largest in eMLS history.

The 2023 season will commence with the eMLS League Series 1 remote qualifiers this Tuesday and Wednesday. The tournament will then move in person to New York City where, based on the results of the qualifying matches, all club eMLS players will compete in a group stage this Saturday. Final series bracket games will then take place on Sunday.

The season will continue with the eMLS League Series 2 from February 7 to 8 (remote qualifiers) followed by a group stage on February 11 and final series bracket matches on February 12.

The season will conclude in Austin at the SXSW festival, with the Last Chance Qualifier held on March 11 determining the final "Cinderella" participant spot for the eMLS Cup on March 12.

All of CF Montréal's eMLS League Series 1 qualifying matches and group stage matches will be livestreamed on the Twitch channel of our eSports player, while the final series bracket matches will be livestreamed on the official MLS Twitch account.
